COMMUNICATION FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF CANNABIS REGULATION (DCR) relative to amendments to the DCR’s Rules and Regulations to reorganize, clarify, and establish necessary procedures for the administration of the City’s commercial cannabis licensing and Social Equity Program.

Recommendation for Council action:
APPROVE the Rules and Regulations for Cannabis Procedures to implement the draft Ordinance recently transmitted by the City Attorney’s Office on March 15, 2022 (Council file No. 21-1083) outlined in the DCR report dated March 23, 2022 and in Attachment A, attached to the Council file. Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the DCR. Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report. Community Impact Statement: None submitted |
